When half of the world’s population doesn’t have access to the full Bible in their chosen language, and one in twenty doesn’t have any Scripture translation in their chosen language at all, we know that the task of Bible translation is one we cannot afford to ignore.
Bible Societies around the world are currently working on more than 450 translation projects that will be giving millions more people the amazing gift of having God’s Word in their chosen language.
For 30 days in September, we will be focusing on supporting this vital aspect of our ministry through prayer as we lead up to the globally recognised International Translation Day on September 30th.
To make sure that you receive each day’s prayer highlight throughout September, just follow us on facebook or twitter.
Thanks for your prayers – they make all the difference!

Since the launch of the New Testament in 2006, the speakers of Mongondow in Indonesia have been eagerly awaiting the completion of the full Bible in their own language! Let’s stand with the Bible Society of Indonesia by supporting them in prayer as they work to finish this Bible in this language spoken by half a million people.

Today is International Translation Day. 146 Bible Societies are working together on over 450 Bible translations. We are passionate about giving people access to the life-giving truth of God’s Word in a language they can understand easily. Please ask God to pour out His wisdom and blessing on this ministry.
