Love is at the very core of Christian faith. John 3:16, sometimes called “the Gospel in a nutshell”, is about God’s love for us. Jesus also speaks of it when He is asked about the great commandment in Matthew 22:35-40, our love for God and for one another.
And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (John 13:34)
Do all your work in love. (1 Corinthians 16:14)
